After over 20 years of providing live audio in Franklin County and beyond, I’m excited to announce that I’ve taken on a new full-time position as Project Manager at Klondike Sound, LLC of South Deerfield, MA.
Klondike Sound, LLC has purchased the IP and goodwill of the Live Audio operations of PDP Productions. During this transition I hope to retain my current clients and will be taking on new event inquiries under the Klondike Sound banner.

Thank you!
Over 20 years of audio wizardry.
Since 2002, PDP Productions has been providing top-notch live sound and studio recording services in Western Massachusetts. Owner, engineer, and lifelong musician Brian Westbrook brings a wealth of audio knowledge and expertise that will ensure that your next event or project is a resounding success.
Studio Recording
Known for his production and mixing work in the metal and punk genres, Brian’s innate musicianship and ear for detail will expertly guide your next project from jam room demo to fully-produced album.
Live Sound
From concerts to dances, from fairs to festivals, PDP Productions brought stellar sound and lighting to events in Franklin County and beyond for over 20 years.
What does PDP stand for, anyway?
A Western Mass native, Brian Westbrook has been devoted to music from day one - from his upbringing as a classical and jazz pianist, to drumming in his first punk band at 13, to his work today with thrash stalwarts Lich King and skacore upstarts PWRUP.
That first punk band seeded the roots for PDP Productions, guided (and bankrolled) by Brian’s father David – who had been recently dubbed “Poppa Diddy Pop” by the band and became the namesake after the joke stuck. What started as an outlet to put on shows at the local teen center and to self-record DIY demos in the basement practice space gradually morphed into booking shows and recording sessions for other bands, and Brian’s dual career path began to take shape.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sound Recording Technology from UMass Lowell in 2009, Brian took over the reins of PDP Productions and dove into audio and music full-time. Since then, his whirlwind of a career has included touring the world with Lich King, engineering at music festivals across New England with Klondike Sound and PDP, co-founding and organizing RPM Fest, mixing and programming content for Rock Band, and co-establishing The Heavy Culture Cooperative to support underground music and arts.
After seven years of co-owning and operating Sonic Titan Studios and producing dozens of acclaimed metal and punk recordings, Brian is excited to embark on the next stage of his studio career at 1357 Recording Studio in Greenfield, MA.
